This event was a unique celebration of Omani culture, a salute to the country's heritage and a symbol for its prosperity and its close ties to the world. The festivities were built around an ancient Oman fairy tale, which reflects the tradition, the philosophy and the 5000 year old history of the Oman. The ancient music of Oman performed by 1,000 artists, the site's historic castles, the country's seafaring tradition symbolized by a fleet of 40 sailing boats performing a choreography of fire and the world's most powerful light, pyro and projection systems were all elements of this unique mega show staged on the ground, on the water and in the sky surrounding the Sultan's Palace.
